Another stop on our journey, Thursday 20 June 2024 in Turin at Colori Vivi, Turin, the social tailoring shop, in Via Parini 8 with which we created some of the beach bags from the Colors collection, which you see on our website.
The synergy with Colori Vivi is based on the common vision of sustainability, as a value to create innovative products not only for taste and materials, and design, but for the value of the stories they tell. Colori Vivi is not only a laboratory, a social tailoring, but it is a place where women are trained, learn to create and recreate themselves: through work many find dignity, economic autonomy. An important value for Seama is to contribute to female empowerment.
Upcycling and recycling are applied here by also extending the theme to sharing with other associations, such as SEAQUAL with which we have started a collaboration. We use SEAQUAL YARN fabric for the outside of the colorful Seama Colors bags: the material is a recycled Pet, obtained from the recovery of plastic from the seabed. Our commitment to protecting the sea and biodiversity to protect natural resources. The interiors are made using fabric scraps, unsold stock from companies or shops, enhancing creativity and quality Made in Italy.
Sustainability Seama – our recipe is care, respect for all resources: women, sea, planet, materials. We are all united and with our choices, we can make a difference.
